Hello. Having passed the first witcher, I immediately began passing the second, which is considered to be the worst in the series. Is it so? And if so, why why? Well, today I will try to figure it out.

The tie of history:

Chapter 1. Khton in the port Mukhosransk:

The traces of Yorvet lead Geralt, Roche and Triss to a small port town of the Navy, where they begin to look for summer (as they call the killer). This chapter is something in the middle between the first three chapters of the previous game.

That is, in many ways we are represented here, the current state of affairs in a state of ordinary people, politics, a showdown with a scoop and so on. But at the same time, unlike the first part, in which the main plot in the first chapter almost did not develop, here the story immediately gains momentum as soon as we arrive in the fleets. Geralt immediately begins to search for Yorvet and Summer, interrupting only in order to defeat the Keran-Ogromic Marine Monster that the local district nightmares. Well, of course, without chernukha with rape and deaths of the innocent here, too, it will not cost.

From memorable moments in this chapter, I would like to highlight a mission in which Loodo (the commandant of the village) invites us to a reception. It turned out a rather cool spy mission with a divert of attention of the guard with the help of a prostitute (which will help only if you defeat a couple of local cattle in the arm wrestling), stealth with penetration (we will talk about this in the section about the gameplay), eavesdropping on conversations and so on. In general, very diverse tasks in a fairly short time in a compartment with interesting dialogs have done their job.

It is also worth noting a battle with Keran. It was quite epic. The fight from the summer turned out to be very very memorable. This is the most difficult fight in the game. He killed me often. And I still played at an average level. I’m afraid to imagine what is on the complex. But it turned out, though painful, but very cool. In addition, it was interesting to see how he uses witches (and yes, he is a witcher. I forgot to mention.). Well, the final confrontation with Loodo also came out very interesting. And to bed, and to cut off once at the end allowed. In general, Loodo turned out to be right for a good vile villain. A rapist, racist and traitor of the homeland (not that I was not careful for the theme, but still). You just want to clean him to clean up and preferably with death. Fortunately, they give such an opportunity.

But, one way or another, summer manages to hide. Yes, and Triss grabbed with him.

A couple of words about Triss:

It is worth explaining my attitude to this person. In the first part, she was a manipulative and bitchy owner, which began to cover Geralt with all possible genitalia, as soon as he did something not according to her plan (she almost literally says that we were on her leash). So she did not particularly call me sympathy and I muttered with a pure conscience with a pure.

In the second they changed it a little. That is, here she still manipulates Geralt in many ways, but sincerely loves him and wishes him good. At one point, she offers him to quit all these searches of the killer and escape where her eyes look. But given that then the accusations will not be removed from Geralt and, most likely, will hunt him until the end of his days, then this prospect looks so -so.

In the third part, she even became an absolutely kind and sweet girl (compared to previous parts).So yes, a change in the character of Triss Merigold is almost the main secret of the whole series.

Well, I already decided that in the third part I would stir up with Ian, because after all the shit that we overcame in her search, it would be strange to say “well, I feel good without you”.

In general, I’m all that? In this part, I absolutely and uncompromisingly ignored Triss. And every time the game offered me to stand on her side, whether it is consent to a joint escape, going down for a rose or salvation at the end, I chose an alternative option.

Chapter 2. There are two ways:

The fact is that at the end of the first chapter we can choose two ways, namely the path of Rocher and the path of Yorvet (he betrayed his summer). And this choice decides who will help us until the end of the game, and also almost completely changes the second chapter and a considerable part of the third.

That is, literally, there are not just different storylines and acting characters, but there are also locations that are normally accessible only in a certain plot, and in the other are almost not present, as well as unique adds. Quests. And many details of the plot can be found only by passing both companies.

And, perhaps, I will immediately say about this decision. On the one hand, I feel incredible respect for the development and admire the gigantic volume of work that they have done in the study of these two ways, since really different passages are obtained not only in small details, but in all those points that I indicated above.

But on the other hand, it is somehow a little offensive from the fact that if you went through the game by making the elections that you yourself considered it necessary, then you will not get a good share of content. That is, if the person decided to go exclusively behind the Yorvet and does not want to have anything to do with Rocher, then he will not recognize the whole plot information that is given in another path. Or a reverse example. The player who decided to follow Rocha will not understand what Saskia needed in this story, and what kind of dragon this dragon flew to us at the beginning and at the end of the game.

And if a change in the main plot can still be accepted, since these are still direct consequences of your actions, then here are unique adds. quests in each line is garbage. Excuse me, but I would like to go through all the cool quests in the first passage. And start immediately the second for the path that I do not want to choose only for them, I am still in the bastard. In general, non -linearity is, of course, of course cool, and as I already said, the developers for this great respect. But I am offended by the fact that I was deprived of such a huge share of content.

What is my path:

I chose the path of Rocher, and most likely if I recall the game, I will choose it again. And that’s why.

Firstly, Rocher helped us escape from prison. And in general, throughout the first chapter, he showed himself as a very reliable comrade. He, of course, is not the best and kind person, but compared to other persons inhabiting the world of the witcher, there is very nothing. And by the way, even if you choose the path of Yorvet, then at one point in Rocher will still save Geralt.

Secondly, Yorvet does not particularly cause sympathy. At the first meeting, he appears as another elf who yells that all DH’Oine should die, robs peasants, and all that. By the way, I really liked the moment when Geralt simply breaks all his arguments literally and says that they would not hide behind any slogans or ideals, they are simply used (what’s the truth). And probably, in his plot he opens and eventually causes sympathy, but when the first chapter was held, he only caused me the care of me, while Rocher managed to become some kind of root. And it will not be deftly somehow walking with Yorvet and shine with a tattoo of blue stripes (squad Rocher) on the neck.

Well, the third reason is this:

I officially declare that Bianca is my most beloved Weit of the second part, if not the entire series! How did she conquer me! Seriously, in my memory, this is one of the best Boy-Bab in all games that I played. Well, or at least RPG. I don’t know, maybe if you remind me in the comments of your favorite combat young ladies, I will change my opinion, but so far I will unshak.

First of all, I was wildly rolled up by her design. As for me, this is the perfect combination of beauty and relatively mundane military clothing. I don’t know what else to add here. Throughout two chapters (in the third, she does not appear), she reveals like a girl with a very strong character, the irresistible (her family was killed by Koya’Taeli, but she did not hate them all, and believes that the punishment for the crime should not depend on the culprit of a person or nonhuman) and a compassion (final of the first chapter), a girl who is an excellent warrior, because she is longer than all the battles last longer than allHelped against Herallet, who is considered one of the best swordsmen of the North. At the same time, she is ready to make her pride and make sacrifices and humiliation for the sake of loved ones (the final of the second chapter). We have several tasks: to find summer and triss, investigate the conspiracy against the king, as well as remove two curses, from the local battlefield and reassure the spirits of the soldiers and from Henselt himself.

This is probably the most interesting and creative chapter in terms of events. The processes of lifting curses are especially interesting here.

When removing the curse from the king, we need to recreate the process of execution of the sorceress, which imposed this curse, after finding objects that are certain symbols (symbol of courage, life, death, etc.D.). And when removing the curse from the battlefield, we will instill in the spirits of the soldier and see the events of the battle that occurred several years ago, but on behalf of the ghosts of its participants. In one of the missions, we kill another killer of kings when he attacks Henselt. And after that we look at his memories in which we play for him and even fight with Geralt. It was good too.

In parallel, Geralt recalls all these events that once the summer was his friend and helped him to find Yenifer, after the wild hunt from the island of apple trees abducted him (this is a type of paradise in which Geralt and Yen lived after the events of books).

But one way or another, Geralt proceeding after the trail of the second killer who was wounded, finds him in a cave dying of wounds, and learns from him that sorcerers are behind the assassination on kings. Well, summer again eludes us, and again along with Triss. And he goes to the city of Lock Muin.

A little later, Geralt finds out that Rocher was behind the conspiracy against Henselt. And they developed this plan with a foltx to prevent Henselt from concluding an alliance with Nilfgard. But Henselt also found out about this and killed the entire detachment of Rocher, with the exception of Bianca. He raped her. Rocher wants revenge, and we go to the proud of the rebels with him, who is now storming Henselt, there we also hope to find the sorceress who stands behind the killers, but do not have time. However, we still intersect with the king. And then they give us a choice. You can convince Roche to spare Henselt, for the sake of preventing political squabbles. Chapter 3. End and beginning:

A meeting of local politicians should take place in the city of Lock Muin. And at this meeting, sorcerers and sorceresses want to restore their political influence, which they lost during the events of books. Our heroes also arrive here in order to end all this.

Here I will miss the main events, since the fate of the northern kingdoms is mainly solved in them. And retell all these intrigues to me. I will only say that I saved the illegitimate daughter of the foltx, and she will become the new queen of Toperia.

But in the end, everything leads to a meeting of kings and sorcerers on which they want to download their rights. But here the summer is announced from where it is not taken and admits that he was hired by sorceresses for killing kings that were not indomitable for them. The sorceresses decide to escape from the arrest and call for the help of the dragon (and if you did not go the path of Yorvet, you don’t know what kind of dragon it is). But Geralt runs on the heels of Sheal (sorceress, which led the plan to eliminate. In general, they seemed to be directed with Philipa, but this is only clear on the path of Yorvet.) And at the same time, the second part is much more dynamic and more integral than the first. While the first part of us met us quite a rather good, but rather chamber and unhurried prologue, the second immediately throws us to prison, herals sits in which. Foltest pushes speeches to the soldiers, simultaneously communicating with political ambassadors. And after this flashback, we also have to get out of prison using stealth (which I quickly touched).

In general, here we are immediately immersed in epic and dynamic events in which Geralt is already directly performing the fate of entire states. And, as I have already written, the local plot is much more holistic than in the first part. Indeed, in the first for the main plot, the same first chapter carried quite a bit, and the fourth was almost divorced from the main narrative. Immediately, throughout all three chapters, there is one single story that develops in each plot missions and dialogues, and often in secondary ones. And even the second chapter, which at first seems a little filler, eventually turns out to be very closely connected with all previous and upcoming events.

Plus, in this game they piled, there are very many epic. Prologue, a scale of the battle in the second chapter, the battle with the dragon in the final. Yes, and cinematography was normally brought. And with very cool, worked out, charismatic characters. The first part, with its place, I personally, probably, is somehow closer, but I will lie, if I say that I have not kaifanel from this story.

By the way, she is two times shorter than the first part. That I walked in forty hours, and this one is somewhere in twenty.
